It washes fine but when the dial reaches the asterisk (rinse/spin) it stops. You can here the 'electric' humming sound. RSpermo Posted March 31, 2014 Report Share Posted March 31, 2014 I don't think it is the lid switch. I just replaced my lid switch because the washer would stop when it got to the rinse cycle. Moving the knob still had no effect. I think when the lid switch goes it shuts down the rinse and spin cycles completely. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
