  1. The humidity wasn't always 25% during the life of this filter.
  2. I would agree with you on the first and second suggested remedies. Even if bonding it all together "fixed it", it is not the source of the problem. No need for GFCI in series as they will cause each other to "nuisance" trip. I would be looking for open neutral or high resistance on nuetral causing current to flow on the ground. Also likely that there is a shared neutral. But I still question how the people are getting a shock before the GFCI trips? 437th CES 88-92
  3. The buyer said replacing the subfloor was no biggie, he knew a framer. A few clarifications with buyer on meaning of words is in order here; subfloor, biggie, framer. Buyer may be ok with it, but sure would want to be clear! Sounds more like a statement from the buyer's agent.
  4. No doubt. That is one of those things that if you start, you get too invested in it to quit even though you have way more in it than you want. Then when you get done, you wonder, what was I thinking. Yeah, I will hand over the cash.
  5. I am assuming you mean the refrigerant line set. I have never seen anything but soft copper used. The lines must be smooth, clean, able to change direction smoothly and be of the specified diameter for the application and distance between condesor and evaporator. All of this information is given by the manufacturer and must be followed in order to have a system that is going to operate properly and efficiently. What kind of material do you see?
  6. Hey Guys, thanks for the input. I have been looking for almost a year and now I am ready. Tomorrow evening I will have a glass of wine, get the darts out and when I open my eyes I'll know which one of three it will be.
  7. See Gary? Another "Just caulk it" fan. Close enough.
  8. With no visible well head in the yard or basement, you can't rule out the possibility of a shared well, wich would obviously create numerous concerns. I think it is unlikely that the picture represents a well head. Is there any water equipment(bladder, switch, gauge, etc.) inside the home that would suggest that the water comes from a private source?
  9. It may be a good time to sell/inspect boilers. What do ya think?
  10. I agree with what is being said as I have looked at most software out there. I also believe most of them have boiler that needs editing, which leads me to look for the one with functionality. I have to agree, IE probably has some of the better boiler plate. There has been a lot said about many of the report writers here on Inspector Journal and other forum sites, but I have not found much said of Inspect Vue. Made me curious if anyone was using it. Chad, be careful with those high intensity discharge photo streams. You're gonna hurt someone.
  11. Good! Considering purchasing software and looking for opinions on this one. Thanks for the welcome, glad you recognized me.
  12. Is anyone using Inspect vue report software?
