Goodhome
Hello everyone, I came across this at an inspection today. It appears that the ground is attached to the gas line. Any opinions would be much appreciated. Thanks, Sean Click to Enlarge 59.45 KB
kurt
Duck and cover....... Could it be the bond to the gas line? Did you track the wire down to it's source? It sure could be a GEC connection to the gas line.......

Since CSST is present, the gas lines are *required* to be bonded to the electrical system with #6 copper. Are you aware of the difference between grounding and bonding?
