rlskfoster
Anybody have a book that can tell the age of a Kenmore Economizer 5 Model # 153.332440. Iv'e tried researching kenmore but I can't find anything that helps with a date of manufacture. Thanks Buster
DonTx
Do you have the serial number? Is this a water heater?
rlskfoster
Its a Water Heater. i forgot to include that. I do not have the serial number. I guess I was thinking I just needed the model#. It wasn't a real pressing problem. My client had asked if I could find out and i said I would try. Thanks Buster
Erby
Age codes are usually buried in the Serial Number, NOT the model number. That's where you need to look for age.
kurt
Every Sears I've seen has the age in the serial #, AND, there is a warranty date that is always 10 years after the date of mfg. The warranty date is always down @ the lower right hand portion of the listing sticker.
rlskfoster
Thanks for the responses. I learn something new every day at this site. I'll pass this info on to my client. Buster
