Tom Barber Posted April 7, 2005 Report Share Posted April 7, 2005 I inspected a log home near Gainesville, VA yesterday that after the inspection my client calmly walked over and fired his Real Estate agent on the spot, because she had tried to talk him into not getting the home inspection. The home needed at least $200,000 worth of repiars. There was a new roof that covered rotten sheathing and logs and almost every corner of the home had major rot in the logs among other things.
