I found insulation in another thread similar to mine that is identified as Rockwool. It's mostly grey with light colored chunks. Is this what I have? Borate is one of the chemicals used. Rockwool is only found in houses over 40 years old in my area. Younger than that will have fiberglass. Or cellulose.
