hausdok Posted July 25, 2007 Report Share Posted July 25, 2007 Here's a good example of what can happen with a single-walled vent used on a gas furnace in an unheated garage. The second I got out of my truck and noticed the rust around the termination above the roof, I knew I was pretty sure I was going to find a single-walled vent and evidence of lost exhaust gas buoyancy and corrosion. I wasn't disappointed. I even got a bonus - a cracked inducer housing. A twofer! ONE TEAM - ONE FIGHT!!!
