This paper is authored by Coleen Robbins, PHD, CIH and Jeff Morrell, PHD and it explains why and how mold grows on nearly any material including wood; the steps that can be taken to prevent, control and remove mold; and current scientific information about the health effects of mold. To link to it, go "library" on the menu bar above and then click on "File Directory," scroll down and click on Building Science/Mold. The link will take you to WWPA and that pub. If you haven't already registered with WWPA, it may take you to a free registration link that will require that you register before you can access the publications.
