Charlie R
First one I've ever seen, I called them and they had no records on a CF30F. I guessed it as made in 1995. Anyone have anything definitive? TIA Click to Enlarge 35.31 KB
mjr6550
Lower left hand corner of label says 0191. Could be 1991, or 2001. I look at other dates, such as on the TPRV for hints.
Bill Kibbel
I don't think Sid Harvey manufactures water heaters. I thought they wholesale major brands and manufacture some HVAC parts. The model number shown is the same format as Ford oil-fired water heaters. Ford doesn't put a date code in the serial #. They print a separate 4 digit mmyy. I think that's what the 4 digits are on the bottom left.
Charlie R
Never ran into a Ford water heater either. Thanks.
mjr6550
The blue color looks like a Ford WH. Sid Harvey may private label them. Bill is correct that they would not be the manufacturer. Ford did use the four digit code and that would be 1991. My records say they went out of business in the early 1990s.
