kurt Posted September 13, 2006 Report Share Posted September 13, 2006 Ummm, you might want to research what the average full time electrician gets paid in north suburban Chicago. $80 per hour is very standard, and journeyman get twice what you offered. Drywall laborer's get the range you're talking about. And, they need a license, and there are the vaguaries of the Cook & Lake County Electrical Codes, i.e., no NMC.
