Here's a little more info about the clock: http://www.clocks.org/new_york_state/ny_manhattan_broadway_346_index.html Before I became a home inspector, I worked for an assisted living home that was filled with antiques (until they started getting sold off). There were about a half dozen tall case clocks that I took care of. One of them was built in the mid 1700's.
