AHI in AR Posted May 10, 2010 Report Share Posted May 10, 2010 The biggest issues with polybutylene piping are the early generation plastic fittings and municipal water systems with high free chlorine levels. I have no idea what your chlorine levels are, but your water utility would. Even w/o high chlorine if you have the plastic fittings you are (or will be) in trouble.
