I kept getting leaks next to my recirculating pump mounted on the side of the WH. A building buddy said that the electric motor was contributing to my leaks by accelerating electrolysis. The damaged piping was getting thinner where the leak started. So we/he added some dielectric unions.

Hmm. Is that a puddle I'm seeing back underneath that ducting? My last inspection had that going on along with the LP siding action. Mine had all the joist bays filled tight with insulation. There was probably this going on too.
So as I walked up to this house I noticed no vents around the exterior of this front decking. And the deck boards were packed tightly together. That's what I was thinking Tom. And matching the tile won't happen. The shower is open at one end into a drying off area with the same tile. There were cracks in the grout there that spray could get to. Perhaps there is no pan beneath that area. 2000 built house with a hip height glass block window in the shower spray area.
