getting ready close up the walls

I took the opportunity with the ceiling out to upgrade from 4" bath vent to 6". It's a powerful fan and it's much quieter with the larger vent pipe.

I put in two pieces of conduit that run between the basement and attic. They are for any future electrical ideas that might require sending a branch from the panel in the basement and into the attic to any other area of the house.

I rigged a standpipe and shoved the garden hose in to test the drain piping before the walls get closed.

I stapled the insulation vapor barrier on the exterior wall mainly. I got tired of doing it and eventually stopped stapling in the interior walls since that is for sound proofing only and doesn't really need a vapor barrier.
