Mike Lamb
I am looking for the installation instructions for an American Standard #AUC1B08A. I am coming up empty on the Internet. Specifically, direct vent termination requirements. I am finding an increasing number of HVAC installations where the exhaust vents out a wall and the combustion supply pipe comes through the roof. This would seem to be more work for the installer so why are they doing it? I have rarely seen instructions that did not say the supply and exhaust MUST be near each other ? in the same atmospheric zone. The instructions are usually quite clear on this. Mike Lamb
The A at the beginning of the model number is not necessary. That is what threw me. For anyone interested, this is what the manufacturer's instructions say: Click to Enlarge 34.04 KB
