Thank a Vet

Recommended Posts

Last night the news revealed that so far this year casualty rates in Afghanistan are double what they were last year and command says that it's liable to get worse.

The next time you are passing through an airport and see some vets waiting in line to get tickets or waiting at the gate for their plane to arrive, please take a moment to walk over, shake the vets hand and thank him or her for their service.

It's such a small thing but it's a great morale booster for this less than 2% of our population that year after year does everything we ask and demand of them without hesitation.
