  1. Gottya,I have noticed they mix it in with the brick veneer for that castle look quite a bit lately.Grey stone retro.
  2. One site suggests they are mixing in a water repellent during manufacture. What kind of problems are you seeing if they have the weeps and flashings in place. Is it more of a moisture problem than the brick veneer in your opinion Kurt?
  3. Ha Ha ,the diagram at Wiki helps explain why there is a loss with two phases combined as they are not exact opposites in the tug of war. (since there are three). But if I take two hots and put them together they will short. The hard part is understanding why they combine for 208 v with out shorting. I assume it has something to do with the neutral being involved. Now excuse me while I pop my head with a pin.
  4. Last sentence is where I get lost, but will look it up. I was wondering if since the middle phase conductor has 208 with neutral will there be 328 between it and the top or bottom phase conductor? (ok) went to wikipedia for a great animated 3 phase demo but still trying to grasp how 208 got to one conductor.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-phase_electric_power
  5. Depending on the situation. "Further evaluation beyond the scope of this inspection is necessary" (fill in the end.) .
  6. Jim are you saying that if I put a voltage tester on the center hot it will show the same as a 220 line. You mentioned between ground and neutral which confused me.On the outside hot's you only mentioned neutral. Is there a good on line diagram for this.?
  7. Just from this thread you can surmise ten inspectors have ten syles. Which is better ,depends on which is most like yours.
  8. Looks like I need to study the three hots deal . I would hate to not know something like that if I did a commercial inspection or custom residential. Always something new to learn. I bet Alzheimers has lower incidence among Home Inspectors.
  9. Why the yellow tape ?
  10. Looks fun. Who needs amusement parks?
  11. The breaker is the clue and I would say yes. CU-AL dou.bt if it is just coated
  12. Really should not be much of a problem as far as my experiance.
  13. Dryer opening requires a 12 inch clearance. Should be ok with the damper. still dumb as Jim elaborated.
  14. Nothing against it other than you may wish to not have lint building up around the condensor unit. Just a dumb location.
  15. WJ I finally totaly aggree with you on your last point. (I know many people, like you described). Another word for it is charisma. I myself have it in fleeting glimpses but have never found the secret on how to maintain it. .Anyway this just goes back to the point I was trying to make about how different things work for some but not others, and we all have our own style. P.S I thought the Cramer report was good.
  16. Must admit I was thinking the same thing. The most important part of my report is verbal. You can have the best report in the world, but you had better make sure it was understood.
  17. Chad can you dowload it for all ,with the link M>B put up?
  18. Flashing looks bad and I guess from the picture they put an asphalt patch right on top. Is that some kind of caulking where the vent boot should be?
  19. Chris is that a word processor or a software program? For word it looks good. Must admit I junked word for open Office and Think Free.Think Free allows online storage and can convert any word document. Sorry I should have checked to see the table of contents was mis-labled. When I get the new software going I will submit a sample as I am still deciding on a good template myself. I feel good segregation of systems and componants with clear easy to find headings is important. Right now it is Horizon which you guys already know.
  20. Hi Chris ,I will leave critical comments on wordage to later as the wordsmiths will take care of that part. Here is my list of defects. 1)Why all the exterior shots on the second page? 2)Table of contents belongs at the beginning and not page 13 3)I would like to see the pictures mixed in to the proper sections of the report so you do not need to scroll up and down. 4)your web site link does not work even though it is in blue indicating it is a link. I do like your comments on the pics though. I also relise that some software does not allow control of placement, which may be the case here I suspect. This is the soft review.Have fun with the rest.lol
  21. 779 kb say they load to a blank screen. Ok, now its in.

Jerry Angelo was the GM for Tampa and had the same problem with drafting offense over there. He got lucky and drafted a guy named olsen at tight end though,so you will be hearing more as Brian seems to like short middle of the field tosses. So far Greise looks good but has a drinking history that I hope is gone. He went to Michigan like Brady .
  23. Looking forward to it as I have just switched to a new report software and am undecided how it should look. I was going to do everything on Open Office using impress slide programs to PDF in combination with Sparten Multi clip but the software guy made so many improvements that I went with the software. Now lets have fun!
  24. Before we end it which makes no difference as you guys make anyone tough as steel Let me have a side bar in that your last comment reminds of something I read. Did you Konw taht you cam mix ltetrs aynawy you lkie as lnog as you keep the frist and lsat the smae.Azamnig ins't it. So much for worry about spelling.

You seem to follow other teams so I bet you heard what Brian Greise did to save our season in Chicago.
