  2. Did you see any red iron or was it all steel? Matt
  3. My thoughts are negative to people who want to live in a clean room instead of freshair (natural immunity buildup)
  4. It would be easy to find the clog...
  5. Almost the end of the sedan delivery era. I would prefer a two-tone grey color scheme. Yellow car = speeding tickets. I thought those were indicated by the speed you were driving =)
  6. HUD inspectors have actual smoke that will set off smoke detectors in an airosol (sp?) can. Might not be good thing to do but 3 dollars for a 5 minute smoke grenade at a firework stand...
  7. Michael Napadow used to call folks and discuss their needs. Then he hung up the phone and took their money. Don't know who Mike Napadow is? Search this site for "napadow." There's nothing wrong with being cautious; it beats being scammed. ONE TEAM - ONE FIGHT!!! Mike Sorry, I try to look for the best in people but when I get called on my phone, answer and immediately told "please hold" then a recording tells me I just won blah blah press certain buttons on my phone, I start debating fact or fiction. There's just so many people who want something for nothing now days, they will steal and scam to get it. Matt
  8. Scam? Why would they waste labor to call you and ask how you want it shipped when you can fill out one simple form and every piece of data needed can be obtained and processed electronically and automatically? Matt
  9. I feel behind the times now with a LED mag...
  10. Can't they just look at the HI they paid for when they bought the place three years ago and look at all the repairs they were compensated for but didn't fix instead of buying another one?
  11. Used where it may flex; bridges, unstable soils. Looks like they used a ball joint but not the socket, instead used a regular Wye fitting and packed Oakum or pipe dope around it.
  12. Swivel joint or Ball and socket joint I believe its a compression type fitting. Similar to a compression coupling fitting for 4" cast iron. Matt Looked kind of like this w/o the clamps? Click to Enlarge 27.01 KB From Piping Handbook, 7th Edition For river crossings, submarine lines, or other places where great flexibility is necessary, ductile cast-iron pipe can be obtained with ball-and-socket joints of the mechanical- gland types, as shown in Fig. A2.31. Provision is made for longitudinal expansion and contraction, and a positive stop against disengagement of the joint is a feature of the design. As much as 15o angular deflection can be accommodated without leakage. This pipe is heavy enough to remain underwater where laid without requiring river clamps or anchorage devices. 13. In the past we could buy a tank at a garage sale and as long as they could look at the tank and all the gas fixtures in the house and no objections they would fill it, I wont name the company in mind. Matt
  14. http://www.carbonite.com/en-us/default.aspx?re=1 I think Rush is giving out a promo code but I cant remember what it is... Something like 6 months free.... Matt

  20. I'm having trouble getting a for-sure age on a concord condensing unit, house was built in 79. Concord condension unit outside, quatro (by consolidated industries inside) Concord serial is 4607E59584 Has me thinking 46th week of 2007 maybe? Model is 2AC13L30P-2B The only thing I have found on concord is this: http://hisearch.org/Documents/LENNOX%20 ... EADING.pdf If you happen to know concord it would be helpful, Thanks, Matt
  21. My house was built in 1960 and I have an electric cooktop (1985 jenn-air), double oven in the wall (looks 15-25 years old) and an electric stove in the basement in a fallout room all on a 50 amp breaker. Never had a single problem with it tripping, and have had all but the basement stove on at the same time. Wether this is right or not I do not know but just thought I would toss that out there seeing as how this was the same time period. Matt P.S.: When I bought my house 2 years ago, We had a home inspection that didn't mention alot of things but said the house was sound and he'd move in tonight.
  22. That is not insulation. It is something used in a garden. But my point was it is vermiculite but it is labeled as asbestos free vermiculite since yall were talking about not all vermiculite had asbestos in it and they still use it today. And I like attic fans, but dont cut one on without a window open, you'll burn the motor up. Or clean the chimney for them. Matt
