  1. Hello, Mr. Robart Jones, Great post and pictures sharing. Most machines or devices today use heat exchangers in a way or another. These devices utilise heat exchangers in their processes since it replenishes the machines especially those that are used continuously. Thanks.
  2. Great post. Cooling towers are heat removal devices used to transfer process waste heat to the atmosphere. Cooling towers may either use the evaporation of water to remove process heat and cool the working fluid to near the wet-bulb air temperature or rely solely on air to cool the working fluid to near the dry-bulb air temperature. Thanks.
  3. A cleaner with a high efficiency particle arresting filter is a perfect match for this kind of situation.
  4. Shell and tube heat exchangers are needed for high-pressure applications; they are durable products, which can withstand the demands of many working environments. Their design plays a large part in ashell and tube exchanger's ability to endure exceedingly-challenging situations.
  5. Hi, To prevent possibility of moisture condensation, you need constant air movement between the bottom and top of the roof, through the space between rafters / above the insulation layer installed on top of the finished ceiling. if properly installed between the rafters, on top of the ceiling material, there should be approximately 2" of space left above it. This space allows air to flow between the bottom and top of the roof. Ideal installation would include vent chutes / baffles, secured to roof decking, which ensures proper insulation spacing and undisturbed air flow.
  6. Hi, Yes. you are right. He should have had the roof vent. If you have owned a flat roof for several years, it is still a good idea to inspect your roof and know how to maintain it. Undiscovered leaks can be devastating and costly, especially in areas with irreplaceable paperwork or expensive equipment. Flat roofs have layers that may direct the water to another area in the building, often many feet away. The damage could also be from a plumbing leak or another source other than your roof. It is also possible the leak causing the stain was already fixed, and the ceiling was not. To be safe, it is best to hire a roofing contractor to locate the leak.
  7. Hi, Aluminum roof shingles can be the perfect choice for your home, real estate or even your heritage property. This type of shingle weighs lighter than steel, rustproof and stronger compared to asphalt or any other laminated shingles. In addition, aluminum shingles are tough and offer lifetime durability and superior performance upon installation. 1. High-durability: Aluminum shingles are highly durable. This is because aluminum is rustproof and strong. 2.Longer Life: aluminum shingles are considered to be a life-time roofing solution with a rating of 10 or more. 3. Aesthetics: Aluminum shingles are manufactured and designed to resemble the appearance of asphalt, tiles, cedar shakes or other specific and unique heritage roofing designs out there. With this, it can bring elegance, ruggedness and style combined with superior performance to your home or just about any real estate property. 4. Recyclable Roof: Since aluminum shingles are made with recycled aluminum, it can be recycled all over again rating it a top environmental choice of all the shingle types. 5. Cost - effective: Aluminum shingles may be considered as the most expensive shingle on the market today.
  8. Hi, I think you are right. This is one way to fluctuate the air. Air cooled heat exchangers are no more than one kind of heat exchange device from a large list of heat exchangers. Fundamentally, heat exchange machines are devices that are especially designed for helping the discharge of heat coming from a specific volume of fluid in the direction of the other. It's also possible to use air coolers on other conditions that have heightened temperatures, high pressure, acidic fluids and environments. To be more specific, air coolers are generally utilised and set up in the everyday gas and oil refineries; gas storage facilities.
  9. Hi, There may have been sprayed polyurethane foam roofing system due to it's insulative and seamless nature. Sprayed polyurethane foam has been used as a roofing material for thirty years. Once the sprayed polyurethane foam is applied a protective cover is applied over it. These protective coatings can be silicone, urethane, cementious or acrylic. The coatings give increased fire resistance, waterproofing, UV protection and add more resistance to impact and abrasions to the SPF surface. Once the foam roof insulation and protective coating is dry added protective walkways can be placed in areas where necessary.
  10. Hi, Aluminium roofs look great on nearly every style of home. This appearance is further enhances by the fact that aluminum roof panels come in many different styles including cedar, slate, and standing seam. Aluminum roof shingles can also be found in numerous colors. Most metal types of roofing are light weight, durable, and then tend to have a lifespan of up to fifty years. Aluminum roofs are environmentally friendly too, which means that they'll fit in with your current lifestyle. The drawbacks include the fact that metal roofing is hard to install, it can be expensive, and it might need a few paint touch-ups now and again.
  11. Hi, I think the proper ventilation will do to the Snake factor. There are many different types of household roof and attic ventilation systems, including ridge vents, turbine vents, gable vents, static vents and cupola vents. Each variety of ventilation system circulates air in your attic or crawlspace differently. Some systems are more effective than others, depending on the design of your roof, the climate you live in, and the size of your attic. The snake may have been due to moisture factor. The circulation through ventilation prevents hot air build up and allows moisture to escape, thereby minimizing the risk of expensive damage to your home's upper structure.

    Metal Roofs

A metal roof can be a challenging roof surface to seal from the elements. One of the major factors is the constant expanding and contracting of the surface itself. A metal roof can expand and contract as much as 2 inches every 100 feet which can be devastating to fasteners and seams, which 90% of all roof leaks occur at these points.

    Tile roofs

Hi, I am newbie in this forum site. Tile roofs are most commonly found in the south and although fungus can't destroy tile like it does asphalt or wood, tiles are destroyed by having the weight roof cleaners walking on the roof, tile are fragile especially after baking in the sun for years, the damage isn't apparent at first but as the cracks wash out with rain water they will become dislodged and fall off. Thanks.
