Mark P
I've been searching on how to become "Certified" in "HUD's Housing Quality Standards" and I can't find anything online. There is a county near me that is seeking proposals to conduct these inspection and wants proof of certification as part of the proposal. I have the standard and other documents, but can find nothing on being certified. Anyone know anything about this?
Marc
Does this regard Section 8 housing? Marc
hausdok
Hi, I think this is what you are looking for; but it looks like they are not currently accepting applications from folks to be certified: Click Here. hausdok
Hi All, Just to let all of you know, our state's home inspector's board took a look at this issue and has determined that anyone doing these whatever-HUD-chooses-to-call-them is practicing home inspections and must be licensed in Washington State. Mark P
Thanks for the info Mike. I decided not to spend the time putting together a bid for the county contract. Besides not having the "HUD Certification" I'm sure no matter what I bid someone else will come in lower.
fyrmnk
Came across this site that states they can provide a certification test, didn't look into any details about them or the class though: http://www.quadel.com/course_info.aspx?id=
