Robert Jones
Home built in the early 60's. Service panel has obviously been upgraded since it was built. The panel does not resemble the one's I typically see installed with Stab-Lok breakers. Definitely not an FPE panel. It looks as though whoever did the updating just reused the Stab-Lok breakers. So my question is, do the breakers without the FPE panel still present the same safety issue? Would you call the Stab-Lok breakers for replacement? Ken Meyer
At the bottom right part of the label it says Federal Pacific Electric Company, I think it's just a different type of FPE panel than you are used to seeing.
Bill Kibbel
I've occasionally come across the same panel. While it is a bit different layout from the more common older model, it's still a Stab-Lok by FPE.
Robert Jones
Thanks guys. Ken, I was having a moment and didn't even notice the FPE reference at the bottom.[:-paperba[:-paperba
