Mark P
Last house of the year and man what a freaking mess. Not that it matters much in my reporting of this mess, but would you guess the white stuff is a mold or a wood fungus such as "Poria"? hausdok
Yeah, I like to put that stuff in perspective by calling it AIDS for wood. Folks get it. ONE TEAM - ONE FIGHT!!! Mike
John Kogel
Mark, that was not an inspection, it was an autopsy. Good luck to you and your clients in 2012.

Jim Baird
Knob and tube plus galvanized pipe = pretty old stuff, been wet for so long, but could not have lasted if the wetness was original to site. Spaces I have been in that are that old are usually bone-dry and tend to choke you with dust.
