In the UK we used Protimeter and so I recommended them to the company I am working for now. When we received the shipment, instead of coming from Protimeter it came from Jabil factory in China. My college looked them up and I was a bit surprised and embarrassed that they are made in a sweatshop http://goodelectronics.org/news-en/us-o ... and-others Can anyone suggest a good alternative? Their website looks good but seems to be orientated twords wood more than building surveying. I will look for a local distributor.
