We passed fires all over the place; the one in Buffalo, WY is up to about 5000 acres, and they're just going to wait and hope the winter puts it out. I could see it from 100 miles away. A couple fires in Montana, near Livingston, and taking out entire valleys. Supposedly, WA has a few hundred fires going. It's a mess. My hometown is Plentywood and our farm (that I grew up on) was/is even a bit closer to Canada near a small community called: Outlook.
