Rob Amaral
I'm linking-in a visit to an old musician-friend in the process.. he said.. 'ah yes.. Mahble-head, a quaint drinking village with a sailing problem'..
John Kogel
That is about 180 years older than anything I will ever see here. There were log houses and shacks here in the 1800's, but with no foundation and a rotting shake roof, they didn't survive the climate. Sounds like this place in Marblehead was built to last. Lots of stone and oak, I imagine.
Rob Amaral
Lots of 'no places to park' downtown, too... A building nearby had a sign on it 'Tory Headquarters 17___"
Rob Amaral
I can't show pix of the house... but the cemetery next to it kind of says it all.. . Ben Franklin was 8 years old when the house was built... These houses are not unusual at all for us in the Boston, Northeast areas (PA, NY, CT, RI, etc), but 'yalls' out there in the US may enjoy this kind of stuff.. It does make the process more interesting.. Download Attachment: DSCN2253.JPG 135.74 KB
