There's a guitarist named Eric Johnson who claims his ears are hyper sensitive to a degree that he can tell whether he has Duracells or Evereadys in his effects pedals. They are obviously tongue-in-cheek, and some are hilarious. I suspect many were written by the same guy, but that's another story.
