Mike Lamb
In the 9/3/12 Newsweek economy section "The Housing Market Is Making A Comeback," HI's get left out of the money loop as home sales improve. "And every time a home is sold, that's money in the pockets of real-estate agents, mortgage brokers, appraisers, lawyers and movers." No respect. We're in our third house and we've never needed a schiester lawyer to be involved[:-paperba
kurt
The best we can get is individual respect, maybe respect for our companies. As a profession, nope.
John Dirks Jr
As far as the claim for comeback is concerned, sure, I'm inspecting houses but there's two sides to the coin. It seems that every other deal is either a short sale or a foreclosure. For each winner, there's a looser. Don't seem like much of a genuine economic comeback to me. gtblum
As a profession, nope. Whose fault is that? Who's doing anything about it? Answer; 1 Our own. 2 Nobody. [:-weepn]
Darren
Whose fault is that? Who's doing anything about it? Actually, PT is doing a lot about it. He and NACHI are dragging the whole profession underwater.
kurt
I'm not into assigning blame about who did what. It's not a bag race. Plenty of us get respect in our jobs. The profession may or may not.
