Looks to be standard BW heater, with a remote exhaust fan located in the floor joist above it, then a right out the rim joist. Exhaust at eye level and hood was very hot to the touch. Bill Kibbel Posted May 30, 2013 Report Share Posted May 30, 2013 Sure. You found one that is incorrectly installed. The motor shaft is vertical. It's required to be horizontal. 6" clearance is required from the vent connector, fan housing (all directions) and exhaust pipe after the fan.
