  1. Bain, Randy and Jerry I thought I would have a quick look at the software before answering. When I did, I noticed a bug of sorts. When you use the insert Inline image off of the menu it puts a cover image in instead of an inline one. It works fine off the photodrop manager, just not the menu. I will fix this right away. This maybe one of the reasons you are having trouble with it? We also created the software to drop two columns of pictures down the page. I can also easily create a quick function to stack the images down the page in a single column... that would be very easy item to add. I will try and do an update asap. DevWave Picture Drop is an easy to use toolbar add-in for Microsoft Word* that helps you to insert and format images in your documents without the extra steps to format, position and resize! Save default border styles, image size and format settings for word-wrapped, in-line or cover page images... Set default sizes and colors for arrow and shapes so you don't have to change your preferences each time you use Word... Someone else already high jacked this thread. 2. Mike and I have always wondered how you managed to change it? Check your profile. Can you change it back? If not we can just leave it, then if any anything bad happens up here we can just blame the "President"... its the way its done. [:-tong2] Michael Brown
  3. Canned comment from InspectExpress, is it wrong? Drip Edging Absent There is either no or incomplete/incorrect drip edging installed around the perimeter of this roof. Both the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) and the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA) recommend drip edging be installed at the rakes and eaves of all roofs. This is to limit exposure of the edges of the roof decking to wind-driven rain, capillary action or splash back from gutters that could eventually lead to failure of the roof decking. These instructions are clearly spelled out in the installation manuals of both of these organizations. Recommendation: Install proper drip edge now, if possible, or at the time of future cover repair or replacement. Michael Brown DevWave Software Inc.
  4. Yes, and they get indexed into the engine as separate links also. Michael Brown
  5. I think you only get credit from a 301 (permanent). I don't think 302 helps and it isn't a temporary redirect anyway, is it? If you have a new domain you will probably get Sandboxed by Google and get a crappy listing anyway as they don't like new domains, they like the old ones. Michael Brown
  6. Do you carry E&O insurance coverage?
  7. Funny... who was it that was representing their company on this board a while back? We punted him for posting questions under another name and logging back on with another name (same IP) and answering them. The patent office isn't too bright; sometimes they issue new patents for stuff that patent expired back in the 50's for. Patenting some of what they call processes is a joke... Duh... can I patent using a hammer with my right hand? These patents can fail just depends if someone puts up some money… Michael
  8. You're a mod of that forum... so why ask... just do it... and thanks! Michael
  9. Not to worry I have been sending him some of the best BC bud for years... but shhh he doesn't want anyone to know. Too bad he can't remember anything anymore and those munchies are making him pretty fat. Yaaa... man!
  10. What a jerk! Wonder if he was inspecting the recliner for fart stains? Pot smoking probation officers, cops and judges would be appalled! I don't think the cops would even show up in Canada. Michael
  11. Ya, that's lame I agree... but it's on the users end and because they only have the reader there is no way to save, you can only print it. The locked version of a Word form works pretty good except they can't use spell check in the textboxes after it's locked, if I remember correctly. Michael
  12. The one we use is the DP60PRO - Neevia docuPrinter Pro v6.0 - $49 Not sure what the difference is between that version and the $19.00 one? Michael
  13. The Neevia converter will do it. I had to add an item to the dropdown with a bunch of empty spaces and move it to the top to set the width of the field, other wise it works fine. Here is a sample: Download Attachment: justatest.pdf 14.73 KB Michael Brown
  14. The Neevia converter with append extra pages to an existing pdf. Michael Brown
  15. You can save the doc with the form fields, but when the user saves a filled out pdf he will lose the the filled out information unless he has acrobat (not the reader) on his computer. I wish it was another way also. As far as i know that is how it works. Michael Brown
  16. Thanks. That is great input. I will place some "Invisible" text on the front page to increase the SEO. Ya... invisible text is not good at all and may get you banned. Michael Brown
  17. Site looks very nice... but... SEO will be very bad unless you make sure search engines can follow the links on the pages. Search engines don't follow flash links and the flash on the front page is also a waste of SEO potential. Even if you added some small links along the bottom of the pages the search engines could then spider the site. Michael Brown http://www.devwave.com
  18. Stay tuned for another exciting episode of: As the Stomach Churns [:-yuck] Michael
  19. I moved the dialog here: https://www.inspectorsjournal.com/forum ... IC_ID=8588 Thanks for helping dig out the bug. Michael Of course, Michael. But you're being kind. There really wasn't a bug. At fault was a little due diligence on my end for not paying closer attention to the settings. Ya... there really was a bug. The Poll shouldn't have been inside the hiding signatures condition. I had to move an end if statement up. If you turn off the signatures now you will still see the polls. The bug is gone now. Thanks, Michael
  20. I moved the dialog here: https://www.inspectorsjournal.com/forum ... IC_ID=8588 Thanks for helping dig out the bug. Michael
  21. I have to agree with Mr. Lamb. The results of the poll can sway opinions but I don't think the answers should. Unless it's only for entertainment, but I think there is some interest in finding out what percentage do this or that. Michael
  22. Let me know if you see can them now? Michael
  23. I like the price! Does it encrypt, lock and preserve the links and bookmarks? Never seen it before! Michael
  24. Sounds great but $400 is rather steep. - Jim Katen, Oregon You were looking at the wrong product "Document Converter Pro" it even does AUTOCAD and you name it... The one we use is the DP60PRO - Neevia docuPrinter Pro v6.0 - $49 We bought 100 licenses a while back for around $600.00 it looks like it has gone up a bit. They have a light version as well for $19 (probably doesn't have the encryption?) Michael
  25. I like the Neevia converter. For Microsoft Word users... it maintains the TOC links, hyperlinks, references, footnote and endnote links, bookmarks, and the document map in your pdf. It also has all of the security features. It's not free. Michael
