greyboy39
Click to Enlarge 38.28 KB Hello I ran into this today and have not seen this type of installation before. The exhaust flue and intake pipe appear to be sharing the same pipe and join together right before they meet the exterior wall. Typically I see the two pipes exiting the wall separately. Is there any case where this is allowed. To me it simply seems that the exhaust gases are being recycled back into the furnace for the combustion air. It is a carrier weathermaker 60000 btu furnace model 58MVP060-14. Thanks.
Chad Fabry
The pipe that goes through the wall is coaxial. It's a pipe inside a pipe.
