sarc33 Posted July 7, 2016 Report Posted July 7, 2016 I'm looking for your opinion on this crack. The vertical portion of the crack goes from the sill down to the crawlspace floor (skim coat) where it continues on although remains small or tight. About a 3rd of the way up the crack in the foundation wall the crack has an offshoot that goes horizontal towards the wood in the picture. It is also very narrow but I am concerned about the fact that it is horizontal. There is also some efflorescence along the vertical crack. What do you think? Curing crack, aggressive backfilling, settling, or nothing at all? I appreciate your help. Thanks Click to Enlarge 39.84 KB Click to Enlarge 44.4 KB
sarc33 Posted July 7, 2016 Author Report Posted July 7, 2016 It doesn't merit a second glance. There were several other cracks that had been repaired I suspect at the time of construction. Got me over thinking.. Thanks for the help.
