John Dirks Jr Posted March 24, 2008 Report Share Posted March 24, 2008 The two pictures are of the same window. The top one is the upper part and the bottom is the lower part. When you crank this window back to the frame it does not line up. It's far enough off that the upper latch wont grab. What do you think is causing this? StevenT Posted March 24, 2008 Report Share Posted March 24, 2008 I've installed these windows and found that if they are not nailed on a flat plane (surface) this will occur. Sometimes the sheathing below is not nailed properly or is protruding due to warped framing, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
