exploreparadise2
I've seen plenty of receptacle adapters, but this two-prong adapter in a 1940 house is the first like this that I've come across. You should be able to jam 6 or 7 ungrounded plugs into it. Being inches from the kitchen sink makes it even more precious. Has anyone else ever seen that wiremold version of this? It's similar to the adapter in Blair's picture, but it's wiremold. I'd love to get a picture of it. - Jim Katen, Oregon
Jeff Remas
I have never seen one like that before. As far as the wiremold, I had a customer back in the late 80's who wanted wiremold under the cabinets to which I obliged but I had to install a GFCI breaker. He had a plug every 6" that was mounted directly under the cabinets against the backsplash so you never had any receptacles seen on the custom tile backsplash. Les
http://www.freepatentsonline.com/2680233.html Jim, I have seen them dozens of times, but no photo. I'll keep my eyes open for one! I seem to recall a good photo in the IAEI
JDSchlueter
I actually have 2 power strips that are made exactly like that. Funny thing is that the plug and the power strip itself are rated ''110 V 15 A" The cord is 16 ga.. Thing was imported from Japan and quite old. I would assume that the power tap in the pic is from the same manufacturer.
