Bill Kibbel
On my last desktop, I had a handy little photo editing software thing that I only used for quick screenshots. I think I heard about it here. Anyone know/remember the name?

Steven Hockstein
Photoscape is photo editing software. Very simple and powerful. Go to CNET and get it for free.
John Dirks Jr
Check your keyboard for the key labled - prt sc (usually along the top somewhere) If you hit control + prt sc, it will copy the current screen. Then, open MS paint and paste the image in. You can then edit, save, etc...

(Less desktop garbage, re-size open window to desired size). Paste to anything that uses the clipboard/buffer. (Word, Paint, Outlook, etc...)
