Robert Jones
Kitchen faucet handle won't stay "on". Keeps falling back to the off position. Guessing a faulty ring or something like that. Anyone have to fix this type of handle before? Click to Enlarge 37.37 KB

gtblum
I suggest you have this further evaluated by a qualified, certified, licensed, plumbing contractor, with extensive knowledge of faulty fixtures.
Robert Jones
Not the punt Gary. And Mike, what's a bebuild kit?
kurt
He was making a boilerplate joke. All of the cheap fixtures need service or bebuilding every year or so; that's likely what this one needs.
Robert Jones
I know, was just busting Gary's sack a bit. I was thinking it might be an easy DIY thing. Not so much?
Chad Fabry
Robert, does your wife know that you posted a picture of your sink filled with dirty dishwater on the internet? Just rebuild it.
Robert Jones
Well, since you mentioned that Chad. I will explain the nasty water thing. My wife decided to cram all of the end of week fridge leftovers into the disposal(disposer). We are now clogged! I guess I could have blacked that out huh! Now, that's funny. Robert, didn't you have that place inspected before you bought it?

Erby
Go to the faucet manufacturer's website and get a rebuild kit sent to you. Did mine a couple of months ago. Took all of about 20 minutes. Model # might be on the back of the faucet handle. Mine was. Had to look at it from the other side of the counter. ericwlewis
or hire a plumber to do it for you....$175.00?
hausdok
Last one I did myself. I went down to the hardware department in the local department store, found the rebuild kit I needed on the shelf, took it home and put it in. The kit cost me about $10 and it took me fifteen minutes to install. The kit even included an allen wrench to disassemble the unit with. ONE TEAM - ONE FIGHT!!!
