georgann Posted January 12, 2020 Report Share Posted January 12, 2020 Can anyone tell me if they have worked with a home in south florida that was build in the 1950's with a stemwall foundation. Are the foundation floors normally gravel or concrete slab? Our crawl space is so small that there is no way to access it, and we are having a lot of "soft spots in the flooring" Just wanted to know what to expect when I start pulling up the subfloor. thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If so, it could be anything you want, or nothing at all, just soil. Soft spots could be any of several things. More description might bring better responses.
