BADAIR
50's house with add-a-roof every 10, or so, years. 6 layers. I cut the back door shed roof off to add a roof over a deck I was building for a friend. Phillip
I was not part of the tear off crew but they said on one house that the company I work for there was 5 layer on top of a wood sake roof and the last layer was nailed on with 16 penny nails. I see eight layers. Cannot tell from the view how many are starter layers. Most roof over I see does not use a starter strip.
