John Dirks Jr
Doubled neutrals yet again. Seems like I see this on 8 out of 10 panels around here. Here's a first for this one though. Look at the neutral wires stripped back way far. Is that an issue in itself as well? Image Insert: 108.21 KB

Think about it, John. What concern do you have with it being that way?
wirenut1110
The amount being stripped is not a big deal, the service cable isn't insulated at all. As far as the grounds and neutrals under the same screw, they had plenty of open spaces to segregate the neutrals. The grounds under one screw is not a big deal as long as they're the same size. msteger
I see the multiple neutrals and grounds on single terminals, as well, all of the time. Personally, I do not call this out. If so, I'd be calling out just about every single panel as 'defective'.

If "about every single panel" is defective, what good reason is there to keep that information from your client? Having multiple neutrals under a single terminal is not the proper way to wire a panel. When observed, it should be reported. Tim
