Well I had a miss up week. Did not lose any weight. Did not eat right. Weight 278 Waist 51.5 Well its time to kick my but and get it in gear.

I did not do as good for this week as I had hoped for. I guess it did not help eating and drinking a large amount last night watching Alabama beat Texas for the championship at one of the local bars. I only dropped 3 lbs. I got to do better. I eat too much when work is slow.

The exterior wall framing is setting on the beams and so is the floor joist. The sub floor is run to the wall framing. It boiled down to that I had to show him that it was a gas furnace.

Most time in a real estate sell here the agents have the utility usage for a year. If he does not have that I will have the owner/client call them. The gas company does not give out much info if you are not the owner.

Rob, We are at this time in a unusual cold snap. He must think the bill is high which would be from a month ago. You are right about not access to prior bills. Michael, There was no gas leak/smell in July, but that will be one of the items I will look at. The home is an older house and did not have the amount of insulation you would have today and that was also in the report.

I just got a call from a client that I did an inspection for in July. he was complaining that his gas bill is too high. He thinks the only thing he has that is gas is the water heater. I pulled up the report and he has a gas furnace also. also checked the photos that I took and it shows a gas furnace. I told him if his gas bill is too high he may have to lower his temperature setting. The water heater was putting out 140 degree water when I did the inspection and I wrote that it need to be turn down to around 120 degrees. He wants me to stop by so I will be stopping by tomorrow.

I when back to look at the last weight-off and I started out at 290+ lbs.

[?] Cary to me a diet is a short term way to lose weight; a change in your eating habit is a lifestyle change which would be better for me.

I don't need to diet; I need a change in eating habit. I need to cut down on the intake and only eat things that are good for me. Then I need to a a little exercise that I do not do now. If I remember right the Tramex ME+ does a deeper scan (2") than the SM (1/2"). Could it be that the leak had not made it down to the SM range? Chris, How did you find the leak in the first place?

Well it is that time of year we make list to improve ourself for the coming year and I have chose to loose some weight. Is anyone up for who loses the most between now and the end of March? I am planing to loose 30 pounds and a few inches off of my waist. Any takers. I would hate it if I am the only one here that needs to drop a pound or two. Les I am just trying to find out more about the drywall. I have in my IA that I don't check for it. I know it not going to help much if someone sues me about it. Local IACHI had a meeting in Birmingham last month on the subject and past out a lot of web sites about it. There where a few folks there that tested for it. One of the test was to sent pieces of drywall to the lab. To do that right you would have to sent a piece from each panel of drywall. Another test was there is a liquid that you put on the drywall and if it turn to a certain color it might be the Chinese drywall. There is Chinese drywall in Birmingham. The home builder assoc. here in Tuscaloosa report none has been found.

So Les what are you going to report?

There have been a few subdivisions built around here; out of the AHJ areas that the developers required the builder to hire the code inspectors or a home inspector to inspected the homes as they where being built. The bigger builders hired the city to come out and inspect them; the small time builders hired the home inspectors to do it.

I guess the reason I us disposal is because Of the report system that I use has it that way. Yes this is a good place to learn and some good folks to learn from.
