hausdok
Hmmm, One of those fancy pedestals with a reflective globe on top and a couple of bird baths held up by arms on the side?
Jerry Simon
It's actually a statue my wife bought for me after visiting Bonaventure Cemetery outside Savannah, GA ten years ago. We have a small spotlight on it, and the other night, with the snow, it just looked really eerie, cool, etc. Spent our 25th wedding anniv in Savannah ten years ago, and returning in April for our 35th. If you've never been there, ya gotta go. (Lamb should go; he'd then have a different perspective about leaning buildings and how long they might last.) Thought someone would recognize the statue, 'specially if one ever read Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
ghentjr
The Bird Girl is no longer there. The 1994 cover of "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" brought so much attention to a Savannah cemetery statue that it was moved to a museum for safekeeping.
