  1. This is the point where I reach out and shake the buyer's hand and say "welcome to Mississippi". This is the norm Click to Enlarge 51.29 KB
  2. I've call my church and they have been added to the prayer list. We have a small army of retired folks and stay at home parents that dedicate their lives to doing just this. Do you know what their duty is or why they are suffering such heavy losses? Or is that answer one of the "type" that can not be disclosed?
  3. I remember now......I'm with Jim. Two well placed look much more pleasing than one chunky one........what?
  4. Makeup has no effect on the true beauty. We all will light up with a smile when we see a curve. Some like more of a curve or differing placement but we all light up. What was this thread about?
  5. We keep tellin yall, dem northerners is A-gressive.
  6. Its a safety feature. It serves as a quick disconnect in the event of a fire.
  7. The enclosure has been modified. To my knowledge, it has not been tested and approved in this condition. 2 1/2" clearance is now provided. They are the ones who have the issue and are making the decision. Describe what you see and let them do what they are going to do. We all know what they will kick it back. Why are you involved? Are you the muni?
  8. How can the breaker within a furnace count as a proper disconnect? Change the unit out and see what happens.
  9. I'll give that a try. I have two batteries and I did recently change to the second.

  11. I have a TK15. The switch that controls the level of light spazzed last week. Stuck on low. Been busy for the last couple of weeks but I'll make time to send it off Monday
  12. It'd work better if it included a one-way door, preferably facing a busy street. Well that would be true if the restaurant next door had a hot WOK ready to go!
  13. This is what you see when the guy installing the water heater has a brain the size of a walnut. Click to Enlarge 45.3 KB Click to Enlarge 41.36 KB
  14. Wing it. It's an abbreviated inspection and progress monitoring. Marc. You control the check book
  15. PM or email if u wish.
  16. Randy, You wouldn't believe how it is down here. I've got on in the works right now. 80K job. The purchaser is on the second contractor and has not been able to get this contractor to respond to his calls. I kicked the bid back on Monday. Lots of good contractors are hungry for work. I don't get it. It makes me want to give back the work up fee and take the job.
  17. I perform them. The application process is simple but I've heard HUD is a bit random in who they approve. They pay is not bad. It's worth my time. The most frustrating part is getting the contractors to break their bid down enough to fill out the Work Write Up. A TIJer gave me a bit of help in getting started. He sent me an Excel file to work from. I reworked it to suit my needs. There is no need to purchase software. It was a little intimidating on the first few. I had to figure out the role. It's really not a big deal. Happy to answer any questions you have.
  18. The wind is really blowing down here. I just checked and it's 11 mph. Down to 43! Just sayin. Stay warm guys and remember us southerners when it's 95 degrees and 95% humidity in a few months.
  19. [:-thumbu] I do the same. I go as far as to build canned comments to reflect one or two sinks in a bathroom and the variables for the defects I commonly find.
  20. I agree but I had no idea what to call the clamp. You sharp eye beat my quick look on the way out of town. Good catch and you're right. The library is a great resource.
  21. That is not the grounded conductor. It is a proper "device". I'm OK with it.
