  7. Mary O'Reilly was helping her neigbor, Susan, pull potatoes up from her garden. Susan pulled a couple up and Mary said "Those remind me of my husbands balls". Susan said "Are they that big Mary"? No, they're that dirty.

  12. Thanks for the replies. Wouldn't a worn conductor plus some rain make it short to the neutral?
  13. Thanks Marc. I think I'll send an email to the utility with a photo. Strange that whoever looked at it thought it was fine.
  14. This service drop is pulled across the rake edge. This is a house near me that I told the utility company about over a year ago and they had someone come by and say it was ok. Isn't it just a matter of time before the insulation gets scrapped off the conductors and it shorts out? Click to Enlarge 28.4 KB Click to Enlarge 31.36 KB

    Duct Tape

Works very well for places on your skin that get rubbed out, like feet in boots or hands in gloves. One layer of best quality duct tape on clean dry skin is like having an extra layer of skin with no added thickness. Works great in my hiking or ski boots and around my thumb for dirt bike riding.[]
  16. Perhaps it became loose and the arcing caused a problem?
  17. An electrician told me once that a double lugged neutral that he was responcible for caused him to have to replace a bunch of computer equipment in someones house. He never doubles them anymore.
  18. Maybe it's a vent?

  21. I was thinking between garage and connected house, common walls, as well as below enclosed stairs.
  22. Which areas of a house are required to be drywalled?[:-paperba And for up to 4 occupancies? Wood paneling can be elsewhere?
  23. I checked with BRP and got a quote for half the coverage I have now with FREA at about the same cost as FREA. The InspectorPro quote was way less, like 2100 v.s. 3700. No doubt need to check into the exclusions. Thank you for the replies.
  24. Anyone familiar with InspectorPRO Insurance? I do low volume of work. Not my idea. Looking for more affordable insurance. Any reccommendations?
  25. The hose bib was right there. I was putting water where the rain would fall. It all disapeared till I got to that section of the crawl area. Click to Enlarge 81.4 KB
