    I am curious. it is difficult to find exactly what qualifications and license? you have to have in various states. how many states regulate mold, mold inspection, mold remediation, etc?

    I really don't want to be an ass about this, but what are you talking about? ASHI is not an individual that can be called at some mountain retreat. They seem to be an organization (non-profit) of like minded home inspectors with an executive director, staff and elected BOD. I remain one of their biggest critics regarding their "school", but was not aware of any payola!

    Kurt makes a good point, that Nick has provided HomeSafe with some really good data. I think this is very important and as inspectors, we really should review our individual positions re infrared work.

    Yes, there are times when I will turn on. Mostly it is dependent upon my mood, blood sugar and the physical attributes of the turner-oner. We never turn the water on, but will accommodate client for fireplace.

    I like it. I am not so keen on the glass shower enclosure, but really like the design elements of oval window and rectangular door.

    I am not commenting on that particular report. But, I will tell you very very very few reports are beyond comment and, of course, all reports are subject to criticism. Does not look any worse than most I look at. If you do not know this business, you will write a bs report. More to the point, the software will write a bs report.
