JerryM
Need PE recommendation to determine if this structure is over-cantilevered? Image Insert: 38.6 KB
Les
It appears the mail receiving structure may be too heavy for the soil load bearing capacity. However, I would recommend you consult a qualified tradesperson to evaluate and repair as needed. For the purposes of this inspection, this exceeds our standard sop and is excluded. or The damn mailbox is huge and might fall and kill someone! randynavarro
Oh. I just realized its the shape of a handgun. "Firearms are not included in this normal inspection report."
chicago
It is hard to tell for sure with out proper training and worry over legal liability but I would recommend a qualified licensed structural engineer. Not sure if this is a good symbol for postal employees
John Dirks Jr
The structure is "approved" by the Postmaster General. Its only missing one thing. I recommend the addition of NRA stickers to each side. This would warn would be trouble makers regardless of the direction they approach from. JerryM
I'll go with Jim's answer as the most appropriate. [:-crazy]
