Not embarrassed just not interested. I really don't think they matter. I don't think any of the current associations matter. Consumers in my area don't care and few know who or what ASHI is. Now that Florida has licensing in place this will be my last year as an ASHI member. I can buy a nice trolling rod and reel for $399.00.

This is a pic of a leak from an upstairs bathtub in a new house. Plumber opens wll and finds bad waste connection. Never would have seen this with out the IR. Would have showed up several weeks later after client moved in. They think I'm brilliant and I'm not telling them any different. Click to Enlarge 1229.27 KB

Maybe for the flex duct manufacturers. No metal craftsman in these parts.

I see the wall mount mini-splits all the time in these parts. Mostly used in single room applications like a Florida room (how can you have a Florida room in VA anyway?) and rooms above detached garages. Mostly Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, or Samsung. I've contemplated putting one in my garage but the vent I installed in the plenum that I just turn on or off works just fine.

My Dad could build anything. If any of the neighbors (who were mostly family) wanted something built they called my Dad. I used to help him alot as a kid and when we were making good progress on a project he would say "Now we're knocking sugar in the gourd son".

Yep once you get one you find out how useful it is. Going to go look at about 88 units in a condo development next week due to moisture intrusion and termite problem. Their current method of bilndly cutting access holes in the drywall isn't working for them.

I think global warming is bunk and manufactured by folks that think they are smarter than common folks. I do believe the earth goes through cycles of cooling and warming. I think it arrogant to believe us puny humans can have any impact on creation. As you can probably tell I also don't think that if you set off a bomb inside any of your local home depot or lowes that once the smoke cleared there would be a fully functioning housing development. Didn't the smart folks tell us Valdez would be an uninhabital wasteland for decades? I don't see anything wrong with conservation and logic.

6'2 200lbs here so nothing to lose. Ditto on the P90X. Great program that works. It ain't for the faint of heart mind you but at 44 years old its the best routine I've ever done.

Wednesday morning my main laptop crashed. Used one of my spare's to get through the day. Stopped by Costco bought a new laptop and spent the evening getting it set up. I use Mozy backup but like others have stated just data no programs. -
P2705.1 General. 5. The centerline of water closets or bidets shall not be less than 15 inches (381 mm) from adjacent walls or partitions or not less than 15 inches (381 mm) from the centerline of a bidet to the outermost rim of an adjacent water closet. There shall be at least 21 inches (533 mm) clearance in front of the water closet, bidet or lavatory to any wall, fixture or door.
