The "X" patch did not look like a structural concern to me. No bulging to speak of. No problems inside or out to suggest important foundation failure. hausdok Posted May 17, 2008 Report Share Posted May 17, 2008 The wall got pushed inward and cracked - frozen fill or clay - they excavated, pushed it back to where it needed to be, backfilled it properly while adding the anchor, and then patched the wall.
